Bennie and Loes.


The name that is used for the pigeon races is
B. Homma, but next to Bennie is his wife Loes and together they form an excellent couple. They have totally committed themselves to the three National and two NPO flights. For them the St. Vincent (1146 km) and Bergerac (968 km) races are the climax of the season, especially when the flights are very heavy.
Their nest pigeons (48 couples), the male and also the female pigeons travel as one-year-old mostly to Limoges (838 km) and Ruffec (857 km), the two-years-olds travel to Perigueux (927 km) and Bergerac and the experienced older pigeons go to St. Vincent and Bergerac.

With their pigeons, they have won the following prizes:
  • 1995 the 1st National Wroclaw (798 km) fastest pigeon of the  Netherlands competing with 3.390 pigeons
  • 1998 the 1st National Nat. Bergerac Sector 4 3rd pigeon of the Netherlands competing with 43.253 pigeons
  • 2001 the 1st National Nat. St. Vincent Sector 4
  • 2005 the 1st National Nat. Ruffec Sector 4th pigeon with the most speed over Mont the Marsan/Ruffec
  • 2007 the 2nd National Nat. St. Vincent competing with 25.807 pigeons
  • 2007 the 1st National Nat. Montauban Sector 4.

Since 2001 the pigeons of Bennie & Loes have achieved that the name B. Homma appeared 37 times on teletext.
